Required application documents:

 

The application of registering to the competition shall have the following documents attached:
a) educational certificate, original with supplement
b) medical certificate no. 086 issued during the year of admission
c) I – III degree diplomas obtained by the candidates at republican and international school competitions on subjects of study and diplomas certifying participation in various competitions (olympiads), exhibitions, etc., organized by the Ministry of Education or other relevant ministries
d) 4 photos 3x4 cm
e) certificate issued by the territorial body of guardianship and custody of orphans and children deprived of parental care, having the status of orphans
f) medical certificates indicating the degree of disability of the candidates or their parents
g) educational document for children with physical disabilities and sensory impairments who graduated from special status schools; certificate issued by the Consultative Medical Commission, for candidates who have not graduated from special status schools
h) certificate confirming that one of the candidate’s parents participated in military operations taken to defend the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, in the Afghanistan war, or at the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, under the direction of competent bodies; certificate confirming the candidate’s participation in post-conflict humanitarian operations in Iraq
i) family composition certificate (for applicants from families with four or more children)
j) confirmation of pertaining to a Roma family
k) extract from employment record book (for unemployed applicants)
l) educational document with marks on the baccalaureate examination and school performance for the  years of study for high school graduates from Romania, class of the year of admission, baccalaureate diploma having to be presented later
m) copy of birth certificate of one of parents, for citizens of CIS member states and the Baltic countries of Moldovan (Romanian) origin
Candidates for admission to institutions of higher education, graduates of pre-university institutions from the Eastern districts and Bender municipality who lack identity documents issued by the Moldovan authorities will be admitted to participate in the entrance examination by presenting birth certificates, accompanied by another documents with a photo.
The admitted candidates shall be issued their identity cards by the Ministry of Information Communications of the Republic of Moldova by 15 August current year.
Note:
If a candidate intends to apply to several educational institutions, the candidate shall attach the aforementioned documents, approved by the Admissions Committee, based on the original documents presented.

If a candidate intends to apply only to the USDC, the candidate may choose to attach the original documents to the enrollment application.

 

Candidates competing for the 15 per cent rate

The 15 per cent rate of the total number of places (for each specialty/field of training and form of education) provided for in the enrollment plan for budget financed programs for:

  • orphans and children deprived of parental care, having the status of orphans
  • grade I and II disabled children
  • children with physical disabilities and sensory impairments
  • children with disabled parents
  • children whose parents participated in military operations taken to defend territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, in the Afghanistan war or the liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl accident; members of the military who participated in post-conflict humanitarian operations in Iraq
  • dependent children from families with four or more children
  • school graduates from the Eastern districts of the country and Bender municipality who studied according to educational programs approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, and graduates of “A. Mateevici” High School, Sanatauca Floresti district, originally from Eastern locations
  • Roma children
  • candidates who completed military service

Registration to the 15 per cent rate is done at the request of candidates. The listed candidates may simultaneously participate in the general admission competition.

Admission competition average mark calculation

The entrance examination is evaluated using the following formula:
MC = 0.2MEA + 0,3MD1 + 0,3MD2 + 0,2MD3
where:
MC – competition average mark calculated as weighted mean
MEA – average graduation exam mark
MD1, MD2, MD3 – average mark for competition disciplines as stated in high school diploma supplement

a) MD1 – Natural Sciences Department (Biology, Molecular Biology, Ecology) – Biology
MD1 –for Geography major (Faculty of Natural Sciences) – Geography
MD1 – Humanities Department majors (Romanian Language and Literature – English/ French, Philosophy) – Romanian
MD1 – for Mathematics major (Exact Sciences Department) – Mathematics
MD1 – for Informatics major (Exact Sciences Department) – Informatics
MD1 – for Physics major (Exact Sciences Department) – Physics

The competition average mark is calculated without rounding to the nearest hundredth.
The competition average mark for candidates from the Eastern districts of the republic, holders of certificates of general secondary education, will be calculated using given formula, and for MEA, MD1, MD2, and MD3, the overall average mark and respective annual average marks as stated in the certificate (p. 18 of the present Regulation).
The competition average mark for holders of secondary specialized education (college) diplomas and university studies/Bachelor’s degree applying for a program in the field of the specialty studied in college/higher education institution or another field, will be done on the basis of the same formula, and competition disciplines will be identified from the diploma supplement. These categories of candidates will participate in the admission competition to the places designated for holders of specialized secondary education diplomas.
