On Monday, December 7, 2015 into a program „Public Lessons  with 50 invited professors”, developed by the University of Academy of Sciences, took place lecture entitled „Methods and new conception in molecular genetics research”. As trainer was dr. Isgouhi Kaloshian, professor at the University of California, Riverside, USA.
Among the lecture discussed topics were reflected: mechanisms of plants resistance against various pathogens, plant immunity and it modulating  under the influence of pathogen, genes involved in immune response and introducing state of resistance to the invaders, the control and identification of genes responsible for resistance to pathogens, etc.
Over 40 participants, students, graduates, scientific researches and teachers of the university, had the opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with the latest research in the mechanisms of plants resistance, but also to discuss on modern investigation methods applied in molecular biology.
