Two University of Academy of Sciences students were awarded with scholarships from the Romanian Royal House in a ceremony of 94 years age occasion of His Majesty King Michael I, that took place at Peles Castle, Sinaia.
The event was attended by rector, acad. Maria Duca, Vice Rectors Prof. PORT Angela and Ana ERHAN, teachers and students.
Their Royal Highnesses, Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu handed the first scholarships "King Ferdinand I" and "Queen Mary" to Curagău Mihail, the second year student, Faculty of Geography and to the first year PhD student Tabără Olesea, Plant Physiology specialization, that was selected by competition from 1 -15 September 2015.
By means of such scholarships is reinforcing collaboration between academia setting on both sides of the Prut river. This will create prerequisites for the growth and promoting to young people excellence in science, culture and art.
