Board of Directors

Board of directors ensures institutional management. Rector, pro-rector, heads of divisions, president of union committee are members of the Council by virtue of the functions they hold. Also, the composition of the Council includes representatives from the students and / or PhD students (20-25 %). Ordinary meetings of the Board of Directors take place every two months and the extraordinary - as required.

DUTIES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  • Coordinates the entire administrative activity
  • Ensures enforcement of judgments Senate in management and finance domains
  • Manages the funds , including those allocated from the state budget through bank accounts
  • Determines the amount of tuition fees, accommodation in dormitories, according to the methodology approved by the Government, and for services provided and for the paid work performed
  • Examines issues of administrative services and household activities;
  • Approves the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure, the accounting statement and the statement of income and losses;
  • Determines the annual budget and other financial transactions related to: providing information and technical and material support teaching and scientific process, improve living and working conditions, organization staff and students’ rest, on repairs;
  • Examine and proposes appropriate measures to optimize costs, save resources and obtain new sources of financing;
  • Approves the reduction or exemption of tuition fees in accordance with regulations;
  • Approves scholarships for studies and social scholarships etc. for students and doctoral students;
  • Takes measures that will ensure the security and integrity of university heritage;
  • Supervises and, if necessary, take steps to ensure the deployment of capital construction and repair of study blocks, hostels and other real estate;
  • Decisions on ensuring the normal course of teaching and scientific process of living and activity of students and staff;
  • Actively contribute to PhD and students’ accommodation.
